Real Estate Litigation Attorney

Salary/Payrate: $100K-$120K annually plus a performance-based bonus and benefits. Referral Fee: AMS will pay $1,000 should the person you refer gets hired. Job Description Our client, a midsized firm in Syracuse, NY, representing financial institutions, businesses, developers, property owners, hedge funds, private equity firms, and individuals throughout Central New York, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Litigation Attorney. The position will pay an annual base salary of $100K to $120K plus a discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. Our client is seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial attorney to join their growing Real Estate Litigation Practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters while developing a long‑term career and taking ownership of cases from inception through resolution. What You'll Do Handle a broad range of real estate litigation matters, including commercial and residential property disputes, contract disputes, easement and boundary issues, landlord‑tenant litigation, title disputes and quiet title actions, construction‑related litigation, and foreclosure and creditor matters. Develop and execute case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys. Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery documents. Manage all aspects of discovery, including electronic discovery. Take and defend depositions. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences in New York State and federal courts. Counsel clients through complex legal and business issues. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Work collaboratively across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive solutions. Requirements 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably involving real estate matters. Ability to independently manage matters from inception through conclusion. Admission to the New York State Bar (Federal Court admission preferred). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and advocacy abilities. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
