Senior Network Engineer

CBTS is looking for a Network Engineer with an emphasis on Fortinet skills to support our Managed Services practice and support our long‑term financial services customer. Job duties include: Responsibilities Architect network strategies and frameworks to support cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments Assess and integrate third‑party solutions including SD‑WAN, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and routers Ensure network designs adhere to security best practices, regulatory standards, and organizational policies Evaluate and recommend network technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance network capabilities Work with business stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to align network designs with organizational goals Drive innovation by proposing and piloting cutting‑edge network technologies Education Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Experience & Certifications 10 years of experience with Fortinet firewalls and products Deep expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS) Strong understanding of firewalls, load balancers, and VPN Experience with scripting and automation Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in network design tools Experience with software‑defined networking Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills CBTS provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a protected veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
