In-Home Caregiver

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Job description: Make a real difference—and get paid well to do it. • Training and travel time between clients paid at $17.25/hr. We schedule thoughtfully to minimize drive time between shifts.

What you'll do: You'll provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes throughout Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and surrounding areas. This includes helping with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments. Some of our clients are veterans, and we're proud to serve those who served our country. What we're looking for: Current HCA or CNA license (or willingness to complete training within 120 days and obtain certification within the state-required timeframe—we'll help you through the process) Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance Ability to pass background check and drug screening Authorized to work in the United States Weekend availability during your first 90 days Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours/weekly Able to perform the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 25 lbs, assisting with transfers, and standing/walking for extended periods Smartphone and email address required English fluency (spoken and written) A genuine desire to help seniors live safely and comfortably at home Visiting Angels Olympia proudly serves Thurston County and has been recognized for quality care for over 16 years.
