Phlebotomist

Job Location and Schedule Midland, TX (79707) Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (additional hours may be requested as needed). Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administer clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience working in a clinical/hospital environment. 1 or more years of experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric to geriatric). Current or prior LabCorp experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is required. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume work environment. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
