Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Our cardiac catheterization lab is a high acuity cath lab specializing in percutaneous interventional procedures of the heart. Procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, rotoblators, peripheral studies, interventions, and structural heart repairs. BTMC has a very robust Structural Heart program and performs procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement and left atrial appendage closures. BTMC has 2 interventional cardiology suites, 1 multipurpose interventional/EP suite, 1 dedicated EP suite, and 1 hybrid OR. The cath lab team is comprised of highly skilled professionals that include special procedure technicians, registered nurses and interventional cardiologists. The RN is an integral part of the team and is responsible for many duties in the cath lab, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and documenting the case. Under the direction of the physician, the RN is responsible for procedural sedation and maintaining patient safety during the procedure.

Location: Banner Thunderbird

Work Schedule: per diem, 12hr shifts, Mon-Fri.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 2 years experience as an RN in Cardiac Rehab or other Cardiac or pulmonary setting;
• Must have BLS, but prefer to have ACLS as well.
