Invoicing SpecialistThe Invoicing Specialist is responsible for posting Brenntag invoices in third party or customer portals. This role interacts with external customers, Brenntag order entry, customer service, and billing personnel to ensure accurate and timely processing of the portal invoices. This specialized role is important in issue identification and escalation within the portals and problem solving.Job ResponsibilitiesProcess, post, and manage a high volume of invoices with extreme attention to detail via portal systems.Review & enter customer invoice data into portals, which is generated from Brenntag's ERP system and check for accuracyInteract with customers, Brenntag sales team, Customer Service Representatives, and other personnel on a regular basis to resolve problems/issuesObtain information regarding orders, invoices, billing & customer purchase ordersProvide information relating to the status of portal invoicesSet up and maintain new portals and new portal customers, including managing access to other Brenntag personnel based upon their function and responsibilities.Attend meetings related to new portal customers and present the proposals to management.Log metrics to identify and elevate areas of improvement as it relates to pricing accuracy.Manage monthly billing activities for different Business UnitsEducation and Experience:High School diploma or GEDAssociate degree a plus2+ years internal or 4+ years external customer service roleFamiliarity with working under a documented quality procedure/process system (ie.
