Job Description
Surgical Technologist - Surgical Services

Schedule

10H Evening shift, 13 weeks, 40 hours per week. Up to 2 weekends per month with call or working shifts. 30-minute on-call response time. Short call shift once a week.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly.

Requirements

• Must be able to scrub and circulate for orthopedic, neurological, ENT, general surgery, and kidney transplants.
• Certification: BLS.
• No local travelers accepted (must reside outside a 50-mile radius).
• Must have separated from a partner facility for six months to be considered if previously employed there.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during operations.
• Handle instruments and materials effectively and safely.
• Adhere to operational protocols and safety standards.
• Participate in the preparation and assembly of surgical instruments.
• Monitor and communicate patient status during procedures.

Compliance / Notes

Parking details will be provided. All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission. Orientation is weekly, every Monday barring a holiday.
