Application Developer

This is a contingent position for an intermediate level Application, API and Web Services Developer supporting the customer. The NTT Data team will support all facets of the client's program, including enterprise technology, systems integration, governance, architecture and engineering services as well as Application Development and Enterprise Project Management to further the goal of meeting the vision of a secure, standard based environment. The successful candidate will be involved in implementing and supporting projects and enterprise releases for middleware business services. The position will be part of the development team working in several enterprise critical applications. The role involves design & development of web services which interact with multiple back end systems and client applications. He/she will work with other SMEs, architects, analysts and other project team members and participate in all phases of the SDLC including documentation, code reviews, research and support. As a senior member of the team he/she will be a team lead and direct intermediate and junior team members in the design, development and testing of SOAP/RESTful Java web services in a J2EE environment. Will work with the Chief Engineer to establish an enterprise Dev/Sec/Ops environment. In this position you will also assist in the development and maintenance of long range (current year through plus 10 years) information technology (IT) strategic plans that are aligned to the client's goals.The successful candidate will possess the following:US CitizenshipSecret Clearance or the ability to obtain one (Interim required to start)Excellent written and oral communication skills 5+ years of application development and implementation experience5+ years of JavaEE experience2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services3+ years of development and implementation experience with applications, databases, or a combination of bothExperience in IT systems engineering and integration of enterprise IT solutions supporting enterprise level missions – i.e. Full Stack Engineer experienceWorking understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Bachelor's Degree - High School Diploma + 8 years additional experience equals Bachelor’s Degree. 2 years experience for 1 year educationSecurity+ CE (Continuing Education)Computing Environment Certification in the area of support (e.g. RedHat, Java)Posting Date:Department: -
