We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Columbus, GA area. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures, and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining team member safety. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. The role also ensures timely completion of high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance. Service Managers direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide repair information, and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must be at least 18 years of age, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess at least one of the following: (i) one year of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; (ii) one year of experience or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
