Description
We are seeking a skilled developer to join a remote contract position focused on modernizing a legacy system.
The role involves working with both outdated and contemporary technologies to update an internal system.
Proficiency in modern client-side frameworks and server-side technologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Support the modernization of a legacy application to a single-page application architecture.
Migrate existing applications using older technologies to modern frameworks.
Integrate new client-side applications with existing server-side applications and APIs.
Develop and execute an automated testing strategy.
Document and preserve existing business logic during the migration process.

Qualifications
Strong experience with client-side frameworks, preferably with recent versions.
Experience in migrating applications from older technologies to modern frameworks.
Proficiency in server-side development using modern frameworks.
Experience with database migration and management.
Proven track record in phased modernization and incremental migration approaches.
