The ORT (Operating Room Technician) position in Yakima, Washington, is a specialized role within the perioperative team. The role involves working in a non-profit community hospital environment, supporting surgical procedures across various specialties. Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 36 hours per week, with approximately one weekend per month.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Washington state license (must be in hand or have proof of application submitted at least six weeks prior). Minimum of three years of relevant experience, with previous scrubbing experience in specialties including ENT, general surgery, gastrointestinal, gynecology, orthopedic, robotics (DaVinci), and urology. Knowledge of Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Additional Information: The position involves supporting surgeries in a 226-bed community hospital with seven operating rooms at the main facility and three operating rooms at an attached ambulatory surgery center. The schedule includes day shifts with an approximate one weekend per month and on-call responsibilities for day shifts (4-5 shifts/month from end of shift to 0700 the next day). Scrubs are navy-colored and provided by the facility.
