Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room setting, ensuring patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare and assist during surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' conditions pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, responding promptly to changes
- Maintain sterile fields and compliance with infection control standards
- Document all nursing interventions accurately and timely
- Active RN license with Operating Room specialty
- Must possess all required certifications prior to submission; credentials are not provided onsite
- Compliance with New Mexico fingerprinting and background check mandates, including a 14-day supervised waiver period while results are processed
- Ability to work flexible travel assignments in Los Alamos and surroundings
- Travel position with weekly orientations held on Mondays
- Must reside 60 miles or beyond from the assignment location to qualify
- Engagement at a 47-bed acute care facility staffed by approximately 300 healthcare professionals
- Strict adherence to New Mexico state requirements for clinical staff background clearance is mandatory
- Agencies must coordinate with New Mexico Department of Health for required screenings
