Overview Dental Medicine Service Learning Center Manager - Elizabeth City (School of Dental Medicine, Community Service Learning Center). The manager is the practice site administrator responsible for the overall business, operational, human resources, and financial functions of the clinic. This role provides managerial oversight for clinical processes, quality assurance and compliance and serves as the liaison with area health partners and the community. Responsibilities Manage business, operations, HR and financial functions of the clinic. Provide managerial oversight for clinical processes, quality assurance and compliance. Develop, monitor and modify workflows to ensure continuous compliance and efficiency. Oversee a variety of programs including Reduced Fee Program, Payment Plan reviews, NC Farmworkers Program, Ryan White Program, Patient Care Fund, Teaching Case Proposals, and Grant Case Proposals. Make independent decisions using sound business practices and policy and procedure requirements. Analyse data, compile and summarize reports for the Dean’s office and CSLC Director. Serve in full supervisory capacity: develop work plans, conduct performance evaluations. Recruit, select, onboard and supervise employees, and handle HR functions such as time approval, coaching and disciplinary actions. Communicate information clearly and concisely to staff, partners and the community. Qualifications Minimum of bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline from an accredited institution. Knowledge of university accounting, budgeting and human resources procedures. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a dental practice or related healthcare facility. Employment Conditions Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Office/Clerical staff salary range $34,280 – $61,938 (anticipated $34,280 – $56,717). The position is open to all candidates; work is primarily directed to students and residents utilizing the clinic facilities. Candidates must be authorized to work full-time in the United States and may be required to relocate within North Carolina.
