Senior Estimator

Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Sr. Estimator in Selma, TX. This person will lead the estimating function for a civil construction organization focused on highway projects. They will evaluate bid opportunities, analyze project plans and specifications, prepare detailed cost estimates, and ensure all bid submissions are accurate and complete. The Sr. Estimator will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the bidding process. Additional responsibilities include maintaining estimating documentation, reviewing historical cost data, supporting contract and change order negotiations, and facilitating project handoffs after award.

Skills and Requirements
-7+ years of construction estimating experience
-4+ years of estimating highway construction projects
-Experience with TxDOT projects and specifications
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
-Proficiency with construction estimating software such as B2W, HCSS, or similar platforms -Experience leading or managing an estimating team
-Knowledge of risk analysis and cost control methodologies
-Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts and change orders
-Ability to work with metric conversions and perform quantity takeoffs
