Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | La Grange, Kentucky

Provide vital pharmacy support as a Staff Pharmacist covering per diem shifts with a focus on HIV/AIDS specialty medications. This role offers flexible scheduling through the summer and holiday season, with opportunities to assist during sick calls. Ideal candidates will bring retail pharmacy expertise and experience supervising pharmacy technicians, with a valuable preference given to knowledge of HIV/AIDS therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill, dispense, and verify prescription medications.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
Manage daily pharmacy operations consistent with industry standards.
Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing.
Maintain compliance with Kentucky pharmacy regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Kentucky pharmacist license.
Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings.
Familiarity with HIV/AIDS medications is highly advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules.

La Grange, Kentucky, with shifts at Avita Louisville.

Schedule Highlights:

Wednesday, 5/13 | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday, 5/14 | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday, 5/15 | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Optional: Up to 4 hours of paid training available prior to coverage dates.
