Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Responsibilities

In this Seaside, Oregon position, you will:

• Provide respiratory-care services consistent with prescribed treatment plans and departmental protocols.
• Assess patient needs and monitor responses to respiratory treatments.
• Operate respiratory-care equipment safely and appropriately.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
• Document care accurately and follow patient-safety and infection-control procedures.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and equipment.

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Qualifications

Candidates for this opportunity in Seaside, Oregon must have:

• An associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education and experience.
• An Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner license upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification upon hire.
• American Heart Association PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
• American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within 90 days of hire.
• Availability to work an on-site day schedule.
