Pharmacy Technician in Glendale, AZ

This opportunity is for experienced pharmacy technicians to support a busy retail and mail order setting. The role requires swift, accurate dispensing and data entry to manage high volume prescription fulfillment, with a focus on mail order delivery complemented by some retail walk-in service.


Location: Glendale, AZ
Job Type: Contract, with potential for contract to hire
Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  Contract Duration: Approximately 13 weeks, starting ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties, including accurate dispensing and high-volume data entry
• Manage mail order medication delivery efficiently
• Provide excellent patient care and communication
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team and healthcare providers
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively addressing workflow needs
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications:

• AZ Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly valued; please include on resume if applicable
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
