Role Description The Relief Driver role is a full-time, on-site position based in Decatur, AL. This role is responsible for safely operating company delivery vehicles to transport and deliver beverage products to customer locations, following established routes or filling in for regular drivers as needed. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading products, verifying delivery orders and paperwork, rotating and stocking products according to company standards, and maintaining cleanliness and basic care of the vehicle. The Relief Driver interacts with customers regularly, addressing delivery questions, ensuring accurate and timely service, and representing North Alabama Pepsi in a professional manner. The role also involves adhering to safety regulations, company policies, and reporting any issues with deliveries, equipment, or routes to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate commercial delivery vehicles and comply with all traffic and safety regulations; valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Strong physical stamina, with the ability to lift, carry, and move beverage products and equipment as part of daily delivery and stocking tasks.
• Effective customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and internal team members.
• Basic organizational and time management skills to follow routes, maintain schedules, and complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an on-site environment.
• Prior route delivery experience in beverage or distribution industries is beneficial.

Satisfactory completion of a background check meeting company standards, pre-employment drug screening, and a clean driving record.
