Job Description Summary: The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation systems.* Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.* Diagnoses and troubleshoots HVAC system issues and provides effective solutions.* Ensures compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.* Maintains accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.* Provides excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining technical information clearly.* Collaborates with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.* Keeps up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in HVAC systems.* Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and equivalent combination of education and experience. HVAC certification preferred. Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license. HVAC certification. Equipment: HVAC tools and equipment, including gauges, meters, and hand tools.
