HR Generalist

Overview Darigold is looking for a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to join our HR field team based in the Treasure Valley. This role will serve Darigold locations in Idaho and Montana. The HRG plays a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience and supports the employee lifecycle, starting with onboarding and orientation. They serve as a resource for employees and managers at all levels of the organization in responding to HR questions. They are responsible for completing a variety of tasks to assist the daily operations of the HR department, such as ensuring our HRIS system is accurately updated with employee information, administering HR and compliance processes, drafting templates for HR documents, and conducting exit interviews. The ideal candidate brings a passion for HR, understanding of labor laws and HR best practices, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to the team. HR Lifecycle Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors. Helps create organizational guidelines and maintain updated processes. Maintains the electronic filing system in UKG. Updates records to accommodate new hires. Coordinates onboarding of new employees and ensures they feel welcome; collaborates with internal resources (IT, Office Services, Hiring Manager, Safety, Quality). Processes employee promotions, transfers, and changes, coordinating with corporate HR teams and business units. Contributes ideas to motivate employees and support a “Best Place to Work” culture. Supports employee terminations by writing termination letters, sending required notices, and conducting exit interviews. Completes annual required compliance trainings (EEO, FCPA, safety vehicle training) and professional development programs. Pulls reports to share data with managers and for town halls. Performs regular audits of HR data and files (including I-9, FLSA, and salary grade). Maintains HR Team Resources on SharePoint and develops/maintains HR SOPs. Partners with corporate HR teams to implement key company initiatives. Participates in meetings with business leaders and employees, representing the HR team and providing updates on key HR projects such as performance reviews and employee surveys; listens to employee feedback. Participates in regular team meetings and shares best practices with the site location and the HR team. Collaborates with plant management to track temporary employees and ensure timely termination and deprovisioning of accounts. Other HR Support Maintains employment law posters and postings. Supports special projects and maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies to maintain compliance. Performs other duties as assigned. Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization\'s HRIS and talent management systems. The ability to travel up to 20% of the time is required. Education, Experience And Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. At least 2 to 3 years of experience supporting human resources or related programs required. SHRM-CP a plus.
