The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support key business initiatives and drive financial performance. Main responsibilities The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the following: Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgeting models to management, providing insights into key financial metrics and performance drivers. Develop and implement methods and techniques to improve forecasting, financial evaluations and analyses, financial processes, and system functionality. Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support decision-making and drive operational improvements. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization. Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and other departments to gather data, validate assumptions, and drive process improvements. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation and refinement of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel Dashboards. Act as a business partner to P&L Leaders and other members of Leadership by providing interactive business insights and proactive information Analyze cost drivers including material, labor, freight, overhead, and inventory to support margin improvement and operational decision-making. Must be willing to respectfully challenge assumptions and results, and translate financial outcomes into clear commercial drivers Proactive mindset with a bias towards action is critical Key Competencies The ideal candidate should have the following competencies: Detail oriented Results driven Embrace change Collaboration and Influence Entrepreneurial spirit Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration 3 or more years of Accounting or Financial Planning and Analysis experience Experience using ERP systems, consolidation and visualization tools (NetSuite, PBCS, and Tableau a plus) Experience using Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience in Manufacturing or Distribution environment Advanced knowledge of Excel, manipulating data via use of pivots / lookups, VBA/Macros, etc. Ability to extract and manipulate large datasets using SQL or other query tools a plus Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in fast paced collaborative environment navigating ambiguity and complexity.
