Data Entry Typist

Careerscape is partnering with McIntosh Fine Homes, REALTORS® — a boutique luxury brokerage in the Dallas–Fort Worth area — to support the hire of a Data Entry Typist who will type, format and update the brokerage’s property records, listing details and documents. The position is 100% remote, full-time, and pays $54,093 to $65,094 annually.

You’ll turn the notes, forms and property information the team sends over into clean, accurate typed records and documents, and proofread everything before it goes live. It suits someone with fast, accurate typing, a sharp eye for detail, and an interest in the real estate business.

Responsibilities

• Type property details, listing information and records into the brokerage’s databases and online platforms
• Transcribe notes, forms and documents accurately, with clean, consistent formatting
• Type and format documents, listing write-ups and marketing materials to the brokerage’s standards
• Update listing details — prices, addresses, descriptions and agent information — as changes come in
• Proofread your work against the source material and correct any errors or inconsistencies
• Keep digital files and records organized and easy to find
• Follow the brokerage’s data-entry and quality-control procedures
• Protect confidential company and client information
• Hit deadlines and flag missing or unclear information to the team

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Fast, accurate typing — ideally 50+ words per minute
• Strong spelling, grammar and proofreading skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Word, Docs, Excel, Sheets) and online databases
• The ability to handle a high volume of work, stay organized and meet deadlines
• Self-direction in a remote setting, with reliable internet and a proper home workspace
• Nice to have: previous data entry, typing or administrative experience, and familiarity with real estate listings or MLS systems
