Dry Van Company Driver - Crown Point, IN
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position that offers great pay and modern equipment? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes with outstanding mileage potential and performance bonuses. Experience the liberty of over-the-road driving with our well-maintained fleet and steady earning opportunities.
Home Time: Typically out 1-2 weeks depending on location and freight. We aim for weekly home time, but 2-week periods may happen. Our schedule runs Monday through Saturday, ensuring a full 34-hour reset every Sunday.
Equipment: Our fleet is well-maintained and includes models such as Peterbilt 579s, International, and Freightliner, all under three years old. Each truck comes equipped with inverters, refrigerators, and Qualcomm systems. Drivers are allowed to take their truck and trailer home, ensuring secured parking responsibility.
No Touch Freight: We handle 100% no-touch freight with dry van loads and 70% drop and hook operations, reducing waiting time at docks. Most loads consist of automotive goods for efficient operations.
Pay and Miles: Earn an average of $1,350, $1,475, or $1,600 per week depending on your hiring location, with weekly miles between 2,500-2,800. The base pay is .45, .50, or .55 CPM, plus a $750 monthly performance bonus ($0.09 CPM) for achieving 8,000 safe miles monthly.
Running Area: Our routes primarily extend east of I-35, with the potential for dedicated drivers to achieve up to 3,000 miles weekly. Consistent freight lanes guarantee reliable mileage and earning opportunities.
Benefits: Health insurance begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additional benefits include vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401K program. You'll also be eligible for dedicated accounts after 90 days.
