Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the immediate post-operative period
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe patient transitions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care expectations and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care or hospital-based surgical setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
