• Evaluate results for accuracy, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are well-maintained with regular calibration and preventative measures.
• Facilitate specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of all procedures conducted, provide training for new hires or students, and uphold lab quality standards diligently.
• Foster a safe and orderly workspace by adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree with readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• Earn ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure in this role.
