Details IMC Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting Mixed diagnosis and acuity patient population including respiratory, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities 12-hour night shift schedule, 7PM-7AM Full time, 12-week assignment Requirements Active RN license in Texas or compact Current BLS certification (AHA only) Current ACLS certification (AHA only) 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred BSN preferred Additional Information Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families New hires attend orientation and complete facility- and specialty-specific competency validations Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Previous CHRISTUS Health System employees must have a 6-month separation before being eligible for a travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-743917.
