Job Description Responsibilities: Design a wide array of high-traffic and highly-scalable platforms and applications Understanding business requirements and translating these into technical solutions Designing and creating the underlying data structure and data flows to support the application build Designing and building web interfaces on multiple platforms using Ruby on Rails and related databases using best practices Liaising directly with internal and external business users and providing 2nd/ 3rd line support on the Rails applications through the life-cycle of the project This role requires a level of technical experience and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with business staff, technical team, and third party developers Keeping up to date with the latest plans, developments and changes in the Rails world. Provide on-going support of existing Rails Developments. Qualifications Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred 4+ Years of experience in Ruby on Rails Sound knowledge of Ruby on Rails Strong understanding of design patterns Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture Background in a MVC-based implementation of a web platform Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
