About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 13:00 - 01:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC Must-Have: ER experience Description: Located in the beautiful high desert of southeastern Arizona. The facility serves residents and surrounding communities. The facility was founded in 1963 and has grown to meet the needs of the population. The hospital has a capacity of 22 beds. Patient ratios are 4:1 for pod patients and 2:1 for critical patients, with 6:1 for fast track. The equipment used includes an electronic health record system. Supervision is provided by a designated supervisor. The patient population includes adult, pediatric, trauma, cardiac, GI, stroke, and psychiatric patients. Candidates must be team-oriented and resilient. They should possess a strong work ethic and be easy-going. Preferred skills include trauma and pediatric experience. The dress code allows for any color or print scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes non-scrubs, t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings.
