Role Summary As a Curator, you are a salesperson and will be the first point of contact for our customers when they enter the store. You will help create the energy and excitement around Fluent products, providing the right solutions and the knowledge needed for patients to safely use our products. You will review a doctors’ recommendation and, with the support of your store team members, match those needs with the right products to meet patients’ needs. You will sell effectively, turning each visitor into a loyal customer. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service while meeting and/or exceeding sales goals. Increase dispensary, team, and personal sales over a given continuum. Deliver great customer experiences in any environment and be invigorated by constant personal interaction. Use available resources efficiently to assess customers’ health conditions and needs. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor. Assist on deliveries as a Health Educator. Conduct inventory counts and generate sales reports. Record details of each customer interaction and any actions taken. Follow up on all customer issues requiring additional research. Maintain adequate knowledge of the product guide and fully understand the benefits of Medical Cannabis. Communicate with the Director of Retail Operations, General Manager and/or Customer Service Manager regarding the status of issues, as applicable. Qualifications / Experience Previous experience with customer service desired. Working knowledge of MS Office. One+ year of sales experience. Skills / Interests Multitasking ability, working on several requests simultaneously without losing focus. Organization and initiative, good communication skills, proactive, problem-solving, time management, discretion, and confidentiality. Ability to build good relationships; frequent contact with people face-to-face, by telephone, or email. Teamwork—collaborating with others to improve overall standards of work and service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and take a proactive approach to assignments. Sales skills. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands Regularly required to speak and hear, stand at a workstation for extended periods, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, work on iPad, laptop, or desktop for extended periods. Must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 25 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work. Required Education and Experience One+ year of sales experience. Preferred Education and Experience Dispensary-related experience a plus. Additional Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age per state law. Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
