**Exciting Opportunity for CVOR RN - Join Our Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** CVOR RN Main OR - **Unit:** 2911.742100.27405 - **Profession:** Registered Nurse - **Specialty:** CVOR - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:30) - **Previous Charge Experience:** Required - **Charting System:** Epic - **Teaching Hospital Experience:** Preferred - **Community Hospital Experience:** Preferred - **Trauma Level I Experience:** Required - **Trauma Level II Experience:** Required - **Travel Experience:** Required - **Scheduling Type:** Block - **Patient Ratios:** - Days: 1:1 - Nights: 1:1 - Weekends: 1:1 - **Float Required:** Yes (to main OR) - **Call Required:** Yes - **Weekend Coverage:** Every Other - **Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract:** Up to 2 per month - **Pre-Approved Time Off:** 2 Requests - **Orientation Hours:** 36 - **Patient Age Groups:** Adults, Geriatrics - **Daily Census:** 1 - **Number of Rooms:** 1 - **Number of Beds:** 1 - **Interdisciplinary Support:** IV Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary - **Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Our cardiac programme is quite small at the moment; some weeks we don't have any cardiac cases. - We perform TAVRs, approximately 3 a week, on standby in the cath lab. - Call coverage is needed regularly. - General/Ortho/Spine OR Robot experience would be beneficial, as the CVOR RN will be assigned to cases in the main OR when there are no cardiac cases. - **Call Requirements:** - Must be flexible with call schedules. - 2 primary weekday calls (22:30 - 06:00) in the 6-week call cycle. - 2 secondary weekday calls (22:30 - 06:00). - 2 primary weekend calls (one day, 12 hours at a time, 06:30 - 19:00 or 18:30 - 06:00), Saturday or Sunday or both. - 2 secondary weekend calls (one day, 12 hours at a time, 06:30 - 19:00 or 18:30 - 06:00) Saturday or Sunday or both. - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Years of Experience Required:** 2 - **First-Timers Accepted:** No - **Certifications Required:** BCLS - **Pending License Accepted:** No - **RTO Restrictions:** RTO must be included at time of submission. - **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility can call off once per two-week pay period. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
