Job Description

Compensation: $37.00- $42.00 an hour - paid weekly

Maintenance Tech II Shift Available: Nights:7:50pm-8:00am (2-2-3)

Job Overview:

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of

machinery and equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a

proactive approach to equipment maintenance and repairs.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

Conducting preventive maintenance tasks, inspections, and equipment servicing to ensure optimal

performance and minimize downtime

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing all types of equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes, andimplementing effective repair solutions

• Repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, andprecision instruments

• Performing routine maintenance on blown film machinery, including extruders, dies, air rings,cooling systems, winders, and associated equipment.

• Collaborating with lead operators and production teams to identify and address equipment issuesor performance concerns

• Coordinating with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs, installations, orequipment upgrades

• Maintaining accurate maintenance records, including work orders, repair logs, and inventorymanagement

• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe workingenvironment.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of materials.

• Keeping abreast of advancements in maintenance technology and equipment, recommendingimprovements or upgrades as needed

• Other essential duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Technical schooling and/or certifications in electrical control systems, hydraulic systems,programmable logic controllers and pneumatics are preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing facility orrelated field

• Strong technical knowledge of machinery, preferably including extruders, dies, air rings, coolingsystems, winders, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and associated equipment.

• Strong knowledge and ability to interpret prints, schematics, and assembly drawingsHigh proficiency in troubleshooting all types of electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic equipmentmalfunctions, diagnosing issues, and implementing effective repair solutions

• Strong knowledge and experience with preventive maintenance strategies, equipment servicing,and repair techniques

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meetmaintenance schedule

• Strong knowledge and experience with safety regulations and best practices in an industrialmanufacturing setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withcross-functional teams and external stakeholders

• Excellent computer literacy for maintenance tracking and reporting
