Energy Analyst - Commercial HVAC

Job Summary Responsible for technical development and implementation of comprehensive energy efficiency and renewable power projects. Supports the Project Manager (PM) to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and timely. Requires flexible schedule for site walks and building visits as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support development of Integrated Services projects, including energy efficiency, renewable/micro‑grid, battery storage, and electrification scope(s). Perform energy analysis and review analyses performed by others. Conduct site audits to identify existing equipment and potential energy opportunities. Use modeling software such as Energy Tool Base, Helioscope, and other tools for preliminary design and analysis of energy measures. Identify energy‑savings opportunities under direction of the Project Manager. Support the PM during construction by reviewing submittals, change orders, and RFIs and making recommendations for approval. Assist in sizing, savings, and layouts for solar and storage scope as required. Prepare and administer rebate applications, interconnect agreements, and permit applications. Conduct site walks and interface with customers and Account Managers to develop scopes of work. Manage and/or oversee the permitting process. Cultivate cohesive working relationships with co‑workers. Contribute to team efforts by implementing solutions to conventional problems and issues. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience on energy efficiency or renewable projects. Minimum one year working with utilities or solar interconnection processes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Clearly communicate technical detail related to area of expertise. Knowledge of managing utility rebates, incentives, and interconnect applications for various scopes of work. Compensation Range $33 - $45 per hour Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
