Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Sioux City, IA, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• 36–40 hours per week scheduled; a 1900 start shift may float across local campuses within the same discipline
• EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license (must be active at time of consideration)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Heparin drip experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
• One supervisory reference required (within 2 years of employment/contract)
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Must not have been employed by UnityPoint within the last 12 months

Additional Information

• Provides professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• This is a Level 3 trauma center
• Required to work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's holiday windows
