PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well known reputable company in Lewisport, KY.

We are now accepting resumes for a Scrap Segregation Associate who is a team player, versatile, and dependable!

Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug screen

Hours & Shift:

• 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• Monday to Friday

Duties & Accountabilities

• Sort and separate scrap materials according to established recycling and disposal procedures.
• Identify and classify different types of scrap materials, including metal, plastic, cardboard, and hazardous waste.
• Ensure proper placement of scrap materials in designated containers, bins, or storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scrap yard or recycling area.
• Monitor scrap accumulation and coordinate removal or pickup as needed.
• Record and report scrap volumes, weights, and disposal activities.
• Follow environmental, safety, and company regulations related to waste handling and recycling.

Work Environment:

• You will be working in a non-temperature-controlled facility. Temperatures may fluctuate depending on the weather and operational activities.
• Expect exposure to industrial conditions, such as noise, dust, and moving machinery.
• This is a very fast paced work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving extended periods of standing, lifting, bending stooping, handling materials, repetitive motions.
• Comfortable working in varying temperature environments.
• May wear PPE (personal protective equipment) for long periods.
• Steel Toe Boots are required.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work in a non temperature controlled environment.
