SurfacePrep is seeking a Safety Product Specialist to drive strategic growth and expand our presence in the industrial safety market across the South. This role will support the full Southern region, with a preference for candidates based in Georgia or South Carolina. In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate with customers, sales teams, and leading manufacturer partners to uncover new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver innovative safety solutions. You’ll play a key role in helping businesses overcome workplace safety challenges while improving employee protection, regulatory compliance, and operational productivity.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the regional subject matter expert for PPE and safety solutions, supporting customers, sales teams, and supplier partners.
• Partner with sales to identify new business, expand existing accounts, and drive safety category growth.
• Evaluate customer applications and recommend effective PPE and safety solutions that improve safety, compliance, and productivity.
• Lead product demonstrations, trials, conversions, and standardization initiatives to support customer success.
• Deliver technical product training and support new product rollouts for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with supplier partners on training, product positioning, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Leverage CRM and business analytics tools to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and manage strategic accounts.
• Support regional business planning, marketing initiatives, and trade show activities to strengthen SurfacePrep's safety market presence.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in industrial sales, safety, PPE, technical support, product management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of respiratory protection and industrial PPE applications.
• Familiarity with OSHA and ANSI standards preferred.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Experience providing technical recommendations and customer-facing solutions.
• Ability to train, influence, and collaborate across customers, sales teams, and suppliers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
