Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: San Francisco, CA Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $2,678 per week Shift: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 8/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Prime Staffing to place a qualified NICU RN in San Francisco, CA (ZIP 94109). The RN will support critical neonatal care in a Level III NICU, assisting with surgical and medical cases, including cooling, respiratory support and invasive procedures. Shift Details 3 × 12‑hour night shifts, 19:00–07:30 No call; every other weekend off Float to pediatrics, PICU, or nursery as needed Qualifications BLS, RNP (or equivalent); valid California RN license Minimum 1 year of NICU experience (NICU III preferred; NICU IV desired) Experience with neonates Proficient in placement/management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes Isolation precautions, PPE, arterial line and central line care, UAC and UVC management Ability to administer IV vasopressors, surfactants, steroids, and manage neonatal abstinence syndrome Ventilator management skills (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) Experience with PICC insertions, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies Charting proficiency with any electronic system (e.g., Epic, Meditech) 60‑hour orientation required Must be willing to travel within 50‑mile radius of San Francisco Benefits & Requirements Compliance with all mandatory health and safety requirements (labs, background checks, etc.) Holiday and RTO policy per facility guidelines (maximum 7 days per contract) Submission of up‑to‑date licensure and certification records through Nursys and credentialing portals #J-18808-Ljbffr TravelNurseSource
