Web Accessibility Specialist

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Web Accessibility Specialist will ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines by remediating PDFs, MS-Office documents, and website content while providing training on accessibility best practices. Key responsibilities: Remediate PDFs, MS-Office documents, and website content to meet accessibility guidelines prior to publishing Train team members on PDF remediation processes Perform additional duties that support the objectives of the Large Scale Renewables team Required qualifications: 3+ years of experience with document and web accessibility testing and remediation Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and PDF/UA standards Associate degree in a related area; bachelor's degree preferred Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional and accessibility remediation tools Ability to communicate accessibility best practices and train stakeholders
