Speech/Language Pathologist

ACES Mill Road School is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech & Language Pathologist to join our related services team. Mill Road School is a K-8 special education school serving students with a wide range of learning, social-emotional, and behavioral needs. Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using a variety of formal and informal assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative speech and language services in individual, small group, and classroom-based settings according to each student's needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, BCBA, social workers, occupational therapists, support staff, administrators, and families to support student communication across educational environments.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive evaluation reports, progress summaries, and other required documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate actively in PPT meetings by presenting assessment findings, contributing to collaborative problem-solving, and making data-informed recommendations.
• Support the implementation of communication strategies that enhance student participation, social interaction, and access to the curriculum.
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure (061 and Public Health license) and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
