Speech Language Pathologist
Provide speech-language pathology services to students in a school setting in Pensacola, Florida, supporting academic and social development. Work on a 36-week contract with competitive hourly compensation up to $63 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs through standardized evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to integrate speech therapy into classroom activities.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
- Adapt interventions to accommodate diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
- Provide consultation and training to staff on strategies to support communication development.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology.
- Valid Florida licensure in speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication skills and patience.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Physical ability to perform duties required in a school setting.
