Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Detail in Winter Haven, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding professionally to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare-related facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unauthorized access or concerning behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding public service agencies when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
