Vendor Manager

Ikonnect Talentum Arrow Private Limited provides AI/ML data services and technology solutions, including custom data sourcing, data collection, annotation, transcription, dataset preparation, quality assurance and AI-related development services. We are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager or independent client consultant who can identify, acquire and close outsourcing projects from domestic and international clients. Key Responsibilities Identify and acquire new B2B clients requiring AI/ML and data outsourcing services. Generate qualified leads and convert opportunities into signed projects. Develop business relationships with AI companies, data service providers, technology companies, research organizations and enterprise clients. Acquire projects involving image, text, audio, video and document sourcing or collection. Identify opportunities in data annotation, data labeling, transcription, OCR, NLP, LLM evaluation, RLHF and data quality assurance. Conduct client meetings, understand requirements and coordinate proposals, quotations and commercial negotiations. Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure. Build a sustainable pipeline of repeat business and long-term client partnerships. Coordinate with internal delivery teams to ensure proper project handover. Mandatory Candidate Requirements Proven experience in B2B business development, international sales or client acquisition. Demonstrated ability to generate and close outsourcing contracts. Prior experience selling AI/ML services, data annotation, data collection, data labeling, GenAI or closely related technology services. Experience communicating directly with international clients. Strong skills in lead generation, proposal development, negotiation and deal closure. Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline. Preferred Experience Existing professional relationships with AI/ML companies, data buyers or outsourcing decision-makers. Prior business development experience with AI training-data companies, data annotation vendors or AI service providers. Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Upwork, CRM platforms and international outreach. Experience selling services to US, UK and European clients. Compensation will be based on experience, demonstrated client acquisition capability and mutually agreed commercial terms.
