Senior Software Engineer | Series A HealthTech | $230K–$300K + Equity I'm working with a Series A HealthTech company that's on a mission to improve the standard of care across the US healthcare system. They've built the first real-time medical review platform designed to catch clinical and compliance risks before they impact patients — helping providers deliver safer, more consistent, data-driven care. About the company Founded in 2021, this Series A company has raised over $30MM from top-tier investors. About the role They're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design the systems that will let the platform scale 10x — from ~100K sessions processed per day today toward 1 million+. That means building robust distributed systems, resilient pipelines, and infrastructure that doesn't break under load. You'll architect and build the backend systems that ensure reliability, observability, and performance as volume increases by an order of magnitude. What you'll do Design and evolve distributed systems to support 10x growth in session volume Improve throughput, fault tolerance, and system resilience across the core pipeline Build scalable data pipelines and processing infrastructure Strengthen observability, monitoring, and incident response Collaborate with AI and product teams to ensure underlying systems support new capabilities at scale What you'll need 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a backend/infrastructure focus Expertise in Python and AWS infrastructure Experience building and scaling data-intensive applications and pipelines Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and database internals Proven track record of improving system reliability and performance in production Compensation: $230K–$300K base + equity + benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), unlimited PTO) Location: Hybrid — 4 days onsite in NYC (3 if located more than 1 hour away) #J-18808-Ljbffr Evoke
