Salary

$150,000–$175,000

Position Overview

The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with executive leadership to support business growth, improve operational performance, and drive long-term financial success. This role oversees all core finance functions, including accounting, treasury, financial planning, tax, risk management, and information systems.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with executive leadership on business strategy and growth initiatives.
Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Analyze profitability across customers, products, and operations.
Improve margins, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Oversee tax, audits, cash flow, treasury, banking, and risk management.
Support capital planning, financing, and investment decisions.
Evaluate acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
CPA, CMA, and/or MBA preferred.
5+ years in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent).
Experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), fresh or refrigerated foods, produce, or a similar industry.
Recent, hands-on CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment is an absolute must. Candidates without direct food manufacturing experience will not be considered.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and strategic planning.
Proven success supporting business growth and financial performance.
