  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma, cultivating coping mechanisms, and promoting holistic healing.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to offer integrated and comprehensive care.

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and therapeutic support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and wellbeing.

  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, fostering a supportive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of your patients, recognizing their unique experiences, cultural backgrounds, and therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting (preferred).

  • Firm understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with empathy and sensitivity.

  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring smooth documentation and record-keeping.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
