A registered nurse specializing in obstetrics is sought for a facility in Cadillac, Michigan. This position involves caring for laboring patients, conducting fetal monitoring, and managing mother/baby dyads, with additional responsibilities in OB triage. The candidate must bring their license on the first day to fulfill the role requirements.

Job Details

• Location: Cadillac, Michigan
• Specialty: Labor & Delivery Post Partum (L&D PP)
• Position Description: Obstetrics nurse responsible for caring for laboring patients, fetal monitoring, mother/baby dyad management, OB triage, and circulating in cesarean sections. Scrub experience in C-section procedures is a plus.
• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week. No guaranteed hours, with overtime after 40 hours. Weekends are every other weekend, and holidays are every other holiday.
• Required Qualifications: Michigan registered nurse (RN) license, certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-FMC or C-EFM). Additional desirable certifications include Inpatient Obstetrics, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and STABLE.
• Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient Obstetrics, ACLS, STABLE.
• Additional Information: Electronic medical records systems used are Oracle PowerChart and Fetal Link. Hospital-provided scrubs are available.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
