Location: Miami, Florida

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week:  36

Candidate Pay Rate:  $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients using advanced technologies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate families on respiratory care techniques and equipment use
• Respond quickly to emergencies with critical thinking and compassion

Qualifications

• Current RRT license and BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience
• Previous NICU and PICU experience strongly preferred
• Meditech documentation experience is a plus

Education

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with high flow devices, ventilators, and nitric oxide therapy
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Patient-focused approach with a collaborative spirit
