Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health concerns, utilizing standardized evaluation tools and clinical judgment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population consists of diverse individuals seeking assistance for a variety of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. We have a particular focus on providing culturally competent care to clients from underrepresented communities, including individuals of color and the LGBTQIA+ population. The ideal candidate will be skilled in addressing the unique challenges faced by couples, children, teens, and families in these demographic groups.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related field is required.

  • Current state-issued LMFT license is mandatory.

  • A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a counseling setting, preferably in a role focused on therapy for families and couples.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including experience with clients from various ethnic backgrounds and those identifying as LGBTQIA+.
