Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist (Cardiovascular Tech) | Lodi, CA, US — Start 09/21/2026 | 12 weeks | $2,259-$2,349 per week | 36 guaranteed hours | Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical cases and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
- Retract and pass instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons during cases
- Assemble and maintain operative instrumentation and sterile field for efficient case flow
- Manage instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with the RN according to standards
- Maintain inventory and assess equipment and supplies for assigned procedures
- Transport patients, perform related clerical tasks as needed, and assist with housekeeping duties as requested

Requirements
- CST certification or TS-C (NCCT) certification required
- Current BLS (CPR) certification from an approved vendor
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment
- At least two years of recent field experience; open-heart experience required (2+ years preferred); EPIC experience preferred
- Scrub open-heart cases solo or with a second scrub; ability to take on-call about 50% of the time
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s/Technical degree preferred
