Title
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care/Stepdown

Schedule
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Shift: 4th shift requirement as needed
- Patient ratios: 4:1 (days, nights, weekends)

Assignment Details
- Daily census: ~24
- Beds: 26

Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at submission
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, basic arrhythmia course or equivalent
- Minimum: 2 years PCU or equivalent experience
- EMR: Cerner

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care to adults and geriatric patients in a progressive care/stepdown unit with a cardiac focus.
- Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Manage care of ventilated patients and those requiring HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP.
- Perform central line, PICC, and peripheral IV management, including blood product administration.
- Care for patients post-cardiac cath/surgery and manage related equipment.
- Participate in rapid response and code team efforts as needed.

Compliance / Notes
- Max time off: 10 days; none within first 2 weeks
- Pre-start compliance modules required (up to ~2 hours)
