Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Louisiana Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems; experience with Practice Perfect preferred. Ability to supervise and collaborate with rehabilitation technicians and oversee plan of care. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in team-oriented clinics that emphasize clinical reasoning and innovative care models. Comfort managing a patient load that typically averages two patients per hour with approximately 30 minutes spent per patient. Interest or experience integrating mental health considerations into physical rehabilitation. Assignment Details Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Patient appointments begin at 8:00 AM. Lunch at 1:00 PM. Clinicians leave at 5:00 PM. Typical patient flow: approximately two patients per hour; PTs rotate between patients while assigned techs assist under supervision.
